Usage Instructions:
1. Plants can absorb well in soil with a pH value between 4.5-9. (The higher the pH value, the more advantageous EDDHA chelated iron is compared to EDTA chelated iron and ferrous sulfate).
2. It can be mixed with other micronutrients, agricultural chemicals, and water-soluble phosphate fertilizers.
Why Choose EDDHA Fe for Alkaline Soils?
EDDHA Fe is the most effective iron chelate for high-pH soils (pH 7.5–11). Unlike EDTA Fe and DTPA Fe, which lose iron availability above pH 7.5 and pH 7.0 respectively, EDDHA Fe maintains full iron bioavailability up to pH 11. This makes it the preferred choice for:
- Citrus and stone fruit orchards on calcareous or limestone soils
- Olive, avocado, and vine growing regions in the Mediterranean and Middle East
- Drip and fertigation systems where a stable, fully soluble iron source is required
- Organic-compatible formulations (check local regulations) for iron chlorosis correction
Unifarm Chemical offers EDDHA Fe with ortho-ortho isomer content of 2.0%, 3.0%, 3.6%, 4.2%, and 4.8% — higher ortho-ortho means greater efficacy in alkaline conditions. We export to 30+ countries with consistent quality and competitive factory pricing from China. Request a quote or sample.
