Usage:
Potassium fulvate is the potassium salt of fulvic acid — the smallest and most biologically active fraction of humic substances. Unlike humic acid, fulvic acid is soluble at all pH levels and small enough to penetrate plant cell membranes directly, making it effective for both soil and foliar application.
Key agronomic benefits:
- Nutrient transport: Forms soluble complexes with Fe, Zn and Mn and transports them through root cell membranes, increasing micronutrient uptake efficiency by 30–60%
- Foliar penetration: Enhances stomatal opening and cell membrane permeability, improving absorption of co-applied nutrients when used as a foliar spray
- Phosphorus availability: Chelates Ca²⁺ in high-calcium soils, reducing phosphate fixation and keeping P plant-available
- Stress tolerance: Reduces oxidative damage under drought, heat or saline conditions — improves crop recovery after stress events
- Growth stimulation: Triggers biosynthesis of IAA and gibberellins, promoting root elongation and shoot development
Ideal for foliar spray (0.01–0.05% solution) and fertigation (1–2 kg/ha per application). Compatible with most water-soluble fertilizers and chelated micronutrients including EDTA Fe and EDTA Zn.
